About Us

I have been a Blacksmith for over 35 years, of which 16 years was dedicated to making chisels and tools for Stone Carving and Sculpture.
This was followed by over 18 years as Senior Blacksmith at a leading Building Conservation company working on many of our nations most important and treasured buildings as well as domestic houses.
I have produced countless traditional metalwork pieces ranging from nails and chisels through to decorative railings and gates, and am able to undertake new commissions and repairs to historic ironwork.
I have collaborated with SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings), Historic Royal Palaces and the National Trust throughout my career as well as many architects and designers.

I now run my forge from a farm in Bradfield, Royal Berkshire in an area of outstanding natural beauty and you  are very welcome to come and visit me.

My long experience and extensive knowledge of blacksmithing has given me the ability to produce metalwork of the highest quality and for me, attention to detail is paramount. I have a special interest in historic blacksmithing and this feeds into my work within conservation and restoration.

I am able to understand the needs of my clients and to work with them throughout the design process.
